NCEPU Held the Opening Ceremony of Reading China through Ink Exhibition to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC
Organized by North China Electric Power University, the calligraphy and painting exhibition Reading China through Ink to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing on December 23, 2021. Wang Zengping, the vice president of North China Electric Power University, the secretary Xu Lingling, the dean Qi Zheng and other leaders of International Education Institute of North China Electric Power University, attended the opening ceremony.
The calligraphy and painting exhibition Reading China through Ink has been successfully held for five sessions since 2016. The present exhibition is held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Reading China through Ink special exhibition invites painters and calligraphers from all over the country. A total of 42 fabulous paintings and calligraphy created by 41 artists have been received. These works not only express the blessing of the painters and calligraphers to the prosperity of the motherland but also show their unique artistic personality and charm.
Vice president Wang Zengping said that Reading China through Ink carries forward the essence of traditional Chinese culture, and a steady stream of new forces have joined it over the past two years. North China Electric Power University would like to express our sincere gratitude to these painters and calligraphers who actively support Reading China through Ink exhibition. Reading China through Ink has gradually formed its own unique cultural brand and become an important platform for people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and the United States.
International students of International Education Institute also came to view Reading China through Ink exhibition. When the international students appreciated the masterpieces, they were immersed in the Chinese paintings and calligraphies, guessing and recognizing various fonts, and deeply felt the extensive and profound Chinese culture.
