International Students of NCEPU Participated in China Internet Conference
China Internet Conference is held at the Beijing International Convention Center from July 13th to 15th in 2021. In order to implement the spirit of the letter from General Secretary Xi Jinping to the international students of Peking University, and guide the international students to have a more comprehensive understanding of the real China and a deeper understanding of the great achievements made by China under the leadership of CPC, North China Electric Power University organized about 40 international students to attend China Internet Conference on July 13th.
The main method of this activity was free sightseeing. According to the agenda of the day, the international students independently chose to participate in China Internet Conference Innovation and Intellectual Property Development Forum, China Internet Conference Green and Low-Carbon New Data Center Forum, China Internet Conference “Enabling education, enlightening future” Smart Education Summit Forum and other academic forums, learning and understanding the development process and remarkable achievements of China Internet in the fields of intellectual property, green environmental protection, and intelligent education.
In addition to academic forums, the international students also visited the booths of major Chinese Internet companies, experiencing and feeling the culture and charm of Chinese Internet companies through a variety of methods such as games, hands-on operations, and employee explanations, to profoundly understand the tremendous development achievements of China.
The international students who participated in the activity said that through this activity, they realized the other side of Chinese culture, further understood and experienced the advanced Chinese Internet technology, and hoped that there would be more opportunities to perceive China in the future. They also stated that they were willing to describe the real China to their friends and family, which plays a positive role in promoting communication between Chinese and foreign people.
