International Students of NCEPU Participated in the 2022 Essay Competition for International Students in Beijing


On August 5, the award ceremony for the iBeijing 2022 Essay Competition for international Students in Beijing was held at the Beijing Peoples Association for Friendship with foreign Countries. This event was jointly organized by the Beijing Peoples Association for Friendship with foreign Countries and the Information Office of the Beijing Municipal Peoples Government. Nearly 50 people including leaders of the organizers, competition judges, teachers from participating universities and representatives of international students attended the event. Nearly 150 international students participated online overseas. One teacher and four international students from our university were invited to participate.

A total of more than ten international students from our university participated in this essay competition for international students in Beijing. They told their stories with Beijing through words, describing their views on the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Four Centers Construction, the citys refined management level and harmony and the feeling of a livable city, etc.

After fierce competition, a total of 6 international students from our university won awards, including one second prize, one third prize, and four excellence awards. The specific list of winners is as follows. At the same time, our university also won the Outstanding Organization Award.

The theme essay competition for international students in Beijing is a traditional exchange project of the Beijing Peoples Association for Friendship with foreign Countries and has been successfully held for five times before. Since the establishment of this essay competition, our university has actively organized international students to sign up to participate, encouraging everyone to express what they have seen and heard in China through writing, tell a true, three-dimensional and comprehensive Chinese story in the eyes of international students coming to China, and spread Chinese culture and voice. Many international students in our university have won awards in previous essay competitions, and our university has also been awarded the Outstanding Organization Award many times.
